The Concept
The concept of AutonoMATE originated from an unmet need that our team identified. Our team saw a lack of educational robotic products for primary school aged children. In an increasingly digital age it is important to get all walks of life into robotics and computing. Since children are the future it is of great necessity to capture their interest in such technologies from a young age. Hence AutonoMATE was designed to engage children in robotics as well as educate about the processes behind robotics.
The Product
AutonoMATE is a robotic vehicle that can perform multiple tasks
There are three modes that the robot comes with are:

Object avoidance – In this mode, AutonoMATE will avoid any objects in the robot’s path

Line following – In this mode, AutonoMATE will follow a black line placed underneath it

Sumo Wrestling – In the mode two AutonoMATE’s will attempt at pushing each other out of a sumo ring
Customers can also create their own modes through the easy to use AuntonoMATE user interface.
